The JobFit System essentially entails two data bases linked to each other to provide a very powerful and objective job-matching system that has far more value than initially meets the eye.
The system is based around the assessment of tasks as opposed to jobs, and incorporates the parts of the body into the physical demands of the task. This is then ‘matched’ to the worker functional abilities through a brief functional assessment based on the WorkHab FCE protocol, to assess the ability of a worker to perform all the tasks of the job.
This program’s power is in its ability to empower a company (through a risk manager, HR manager, rehab coordinator, etc) to objectively manage all the workers in the company regardless of geographical location or size of the company. It can objectify and measure the effect on workers performing certain tasks or jobs over time, the possible effect of changing a workers job or set of tasks, the effect of an injury or incident, illness, absence etc and measure the effects of any employer initiatives such as wellness program, on site exercise programs, weight loss strategies etc

Where does WorkHab fit into the picture?
At the moment JobFit is being used in large coal mining operations and aluminium smelters, however WorkHab has the unique challenge of taking JobFit to all industries!
